From the Old Port, a guided cruise offers a chance to view the city from a little farther away.
The route follows the St. Lawrence River toward Montmorency Falls, opening onto views of the Château Frontenac, Île d’Orléans, and the shores of Québec City. For approximately an hour and a half, a guide shares the stories of the river, its history, and the landscapes that have shaped the city.

In August, several whale species can be observed in areas of the St. Lawrence River located downstream from Québec City.

The Grand Prix Cycliste de Québec will travel through the streets of the capital on September 11. From September 11 to 13, the Festival celtique de Québec will bring together music, traditions, cultural activities, and culinary discoveries.
At the end of the month, the Journées de la culture will offer three days of free activities from September 25 to 27.
