*1 Effigies are passes to access all the activities during the Quebec Winter Carnival (free for children 12 and under). An additional deposit of $40 per passes will be charged at check-in and refunded at check-out upon their return.

ABOUT THE WINTER CARNIVAL
The Quebec Winter Carnival is an iconic winter festival held annually. It is one of the largest and oldest winter carnivals in the world. Established in 1955, it celebrates the joys of winter through a variety of cultural, sporting, and festive activities. During the Carnival, the entire city is transformed. Ice and snow sculptures adorn the main streets of Old Quebec, such as Grande Allée and Saint-Jean Street. The schedule features numerous shows, along with street performances, urban lounges with outdoor fireplaces, and the traditional parade. It’s an extraordinary time to discover the city.
